Салыштыруу даражалары жана туруктуу салыштыруу түзүлүштөрү

ЖРТда салыштыруу сын атооч менен тактоочтун формалары, ошондой эле the more… the better, such a… that, prefer… to сыяктуу туруктуу түзүлүштөр аркылуу текшерилет.

Салыштыруу даражалары

• кыска сөздөр: cold → colder → the coldest; big → bigger → the biggest; easy → easier → the easiest;
• узун сөздөр: interesting → more interesting → the most interesting;
• туура эмес формалар: good / well → better → the best; bad → worse → the worst; much / many → more → the most; little → less → the least; far → farther / further → the farthest / furthest;
• late → later (кечирээк) → the latest (эң акыркы, эң кеч); latter — «аталган экөөнүн экинчиси», бул салыштыруу даражасы эмес.

Салыштырма даражадан кийин than келет: Tokmok is smaller than Bishkek.

Канчалык көп?

• бир аз: slightly, a little, a bit + салыштырма даража;
• бир топ: much, far, a lot + салыштырма даража;
• slightly more expensive (бир аз кымбатыраак) = экинчи тараптан a little cheaper.

Туруктуу түзүлүштөр

• The + салыштырма, the + салыштырма — канчалык…, ошончолук…: The earlier you start, the sooner you finish.
• as … as / not as … as: My bag is not as heavy as yours.
• such (a) + сын атооч + зат атооч + that: It was such a cold day that we stayed inside. Зат атоочсуз — so: It was so cold that…
• prefer A to B: I prefer tea to coffee; prefer doing to doing.
• like A better than B.
• would rather do A than do B: I'd rather walk than take a taxi (этиш to жок).

ЖРТ стилиндеги мисалдар

1-мисал. The test was _____ than I expected. A) easy B) easier C) easiest D) more easy Чыгаруу: than — салыштырма даража; easy → easier. Жообу: B.

2-мисал. It was _____ interesting lecture that nobody left early. A) so B) such an C) such D) very Чыгаруу: сын атооч + жекелик түрдөгү саналуучу зат атооч → such an (interesting үндүү менен башталат). Жообу: B.

3-мисал. I prefer swimming _____ running. I'd rather swim _____ run. A) than, to B) to, than C) to, to D) than, than Чыгаруу: prefer… to…; would rather… than…. Жообу: B.

4-мисал. Which is the logical motto? A) The less you sleep, the healthier you are. B) The more you practise, the better you play. Жообу: B.

• more easier, more better — кош салыштырууга болбойт.
